Description:

Open to graduating seniors of an Idaho high school (see list at website below) participating in Gear Up from Fall 2011 – Spring 2018 and renewal applications for graduates of an Idaho high school that participated in Gear Up in the years 2012-14. Applicants must be under 22 years old at the time they first receive the scholarship. Selection based on financial need, hours of participation in the GEAR UP program and academic preparation (based on a combination of the ACT score and cumulative HS GPA). Priority given to applicants who are eligible to receive Pell grant funding, as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.
