DESCRIPTION:Women in Engineering Explore is a free one-day workshop designed to introduce female students to engineering and computer science concepts.  Visiting 9th and 10th-graders will learn about engineering\, science\, technology\, math\, and college life as they: \n\n\n\n\n\n\nDesign and build cool projects\nMeet female engineering students\nExplore engineering laboratories on campus\nLearn about college life from U of I students\n\n\n\n\n\nLunch and snacks will be provided. Travel scholarships are available. \nThis event is held in partnership with the University of Idaho Society of Women Engineers (SWE). \n\nEligibility Requirements\n\n\n\n\n\nFreshman or sophomore high school student who identifies as female\nInterest in learning more about what engineers and computer scientists do\nA desire to be creative\, work together and change the world for the better\n\n\n\n\n\nThe deadline to Register is Sunday\, March 1\, 2020. \n
