The Advanced Opportunities Portal Training will provide counselors, advisors, and program administrators information and hands-on training on how to use the Advanced Opportunities Portal. Over the summer, the SDE has updated the portal to cater to user’s needs in making the portal easier to navigate. The training will be broken down by skill level. The morning sessions will be dedicated to train individuals who are brand new to the portal, teaching them how to set up courses, approve student accounts, and enter funding requests. The afternoon sessions will be dedicated to train skilled users who have used the portal in the past, and will focus on how to easily navigate reports, create mass uploads, and maximize on the shortcuts available in the portal. Attendees will have the option of attending, morning sessions, afternoon sessions, or both.
