Scholarship Opportunities through Idaho State Board of Eduation

Applicants who need SAT/ACT scores must take these exams no later than December in order to have results back by scholarship deadlines. The state scholarships application will be available in October 2019 for the 2020-2021 academic year.

The online application will require the following information:

  • Social Security Number
  • E-mail Address (Used for all scholarship notifications)
  • Expected Graduation Date

Idaho Opportunity Scholarship
Deadline 3/1/20
Need-based award for students with at least a 2.7 unweighted cumulative GPA

Postsecondary Credit Scholarship
Open/Rolling deadline
Attending or graduating from an accredited Idaho High School (or equivalent)
Has ten (10) or more postsecondary semester credits at the time of graduation from high school or graduated from high school with an associate degree
Has obtained a matching scholarship that is academic merit-based from a business or industry, or entities representing business or industry

GEAR UP Idaho Scholarship 1
Renewal applications only
For graduating seniors of an Idaho high school participating in Gear Up
Requires a 2.0 GPA

GEAR UP Idaho Scholarship 2
Deadline 3/1/20
Applicants less than 22 years old on first award
For those applicants who graduated from an Idaho high school or its equivalent in 2017 or 2018 and participated in Gear Up from Fall 2011-Spring 2018

Governor’s Cup Scholarship

Requires community service
For graduating seniors of an Idaho high school
Requires a 2.8 GPA

Tschudy Family Scholarship

For Emmett High School seniors or recent graduates
